Give to St. Kate’s Day is our biggest day of showing our Katie Pride and giving back! On this day, the St. Kate’s community comes together to support the next generation of leaders and celebrate the incredible impact Katies have on our world. Every gift on Give to St. Kate’s Day will help provide today's students with essential scholarships as they pursue their education and their dreams!

Giving a gift on Give to St. Kate’s Day ensures St. Catherine University remains financially accessible to the best and brightest students. Annual gifts each year provide support to empower women to lead and influence. This support prepares students to make a living, make a difference, and make a life of purpose and meaning.

Absolutely! By participating in Give to St. Kate’s Day, no matter the size of the gift, you help create opportunities for current students. Your support on this day is impactful and meaningful. In addition, organizations that rank U.S. universities also look at giving participation as an indicator of the quality of an institution. Many foundations and corporations include alumni participation as a basis to determine whether the University is a good investment. Your gift makes a statement that St. Catherine University is an institution worth investing in!

Yes, St. Catherine University is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All Give to St. Kate's Day donors will receive a paper or electronic receipt after making a gift. 

Thank you for already supporting St. Kate’s! On Give to St. Kate’s Day, you can enhance your support by making an additional one-time gift or by increasing the amount of your current sustaining gift by calling 651-690-6976. If you are a faculty or staff member, you can increase your payroll deduction at stkate.edu/facultystaffgive.

Join the St. Kate’s Day Ambassador team by clicking on the "Ambassador" button at the top of the page! As an ambassador you will be given a custom giving link, sample messages, and graphics you can use to spread the word. You can also help promote this day of giving on social media by using the hashtag #GoKatieGive anytime!

We are grateful for our very generous alumni and friends who have stepped up to offer challenge and matching funds for this day of giving. All donations on Give to St. Kate's Day release challenge funds, dollar for dollar, that will double the impact of your gift. There are additional challenges that unlock more dollars to support students through the Katie Fund. Challenges and matching funds are unique to Give to St. Kate’s Day and are only offered on November 16, so don't miss your opportunity to maximize your support for students at St. Kate’s!

Inspired by GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day, St. Kate's chose to create a unique day of giving to reach a broader audience of alumni and friends who live nationally and internationally, not just in Minnesota. Also, the foundation that runs GiveMN retains 6.9% of each donation to help cover their expenses. St. Kate’s donors can still participate in Give to the Max Day, however, directing community members to our own day of giving allows the entire donation to support St. Kate students. 

Yes! Individuals are welcome to make a gift over the phone by calling 651-690-6976 or by mailing a check. The University will count all gifts received via postal mail with a memo of Give to St. Kate’s Day (or GTSKD) with the postmark of November 16, 2022. 

If you have given this year, thank you! Give to St. Kate’s Day is a great way to show your Katie pride and continue your support of current students. Making another gift on November 16, will not only increase your impact on students but will also help release additional challenge gifts that are only available for this day of giving!

Yes! Many companies offer programs that will match contributions to St. Catherine University. Your donation to the Katie Fund will meet most matching requirements and can increase your impact.  Companies often match gifts by spouses, parents, retirees, or partners. To learn if your employer has a matching gift program and how to sign up for it contact your human resources office or visit stkate.edu/match.

Your gift can be anonymous, simply check the appropriate box on the donation form.
